Task 4: Producers and Distributers

From doing this task i have realized that the big directors and distributors din't tend to create coming of age films due to the fact that they tend to produce a smaller box office figure. This has allowed me to think of a realistic distributor such as Film 4. Film 4 are not part of the big 6, they also make coming of age films and other independent movies. This task has also reinforced by knowlege on what distributors and producers do and how they're completely different. it's also made me appreciate the making of films and how hard work and critical planning can have a huge impact on the outcome of the film.
